Everything about Mount Lindesay Queensland totally explained

Mount Lindesay lies approximately 200 km south of Brisbane, Australia. It is one of a number of peaks in the McPherson Range.
The mountain is a multi-tiered peak similar to a wedding cake and is covered in thick dense rainforest. The summit isn't the remains of an extinct volcano as its appearance might first suggest.
The park is dissected by the New South Wales-Queensland state border. The area is protected within Mount Barney National Park in Queensland and Border Ranges National Park in New South Wales. To get to the top requires some very steep rockclimbing.
The Mount Lindesay Highway passes close to Mount Lindesay.
